SCOTT BROWN has stepped into his first role in management this afternoon as he takes over as the manager of Fleetwood town down south.

The Celtic legend has wastes no time since his retirement throwing himself into the deep end with the lower league English club.

After leaving Aberdeen, Scott had a long hard think about what he wanted to do next and if he would continue his playing career beyond this season. He decided to call it a day and begin his managerial adventure that will start with Fleetwood.

Broony has long held the ambition to go into management and it’s great to see him get a chance so early on. We hope to see the Celtic hero turn things around at Fleetwood and get the team going.

Scott takes over a club once managed by his old Glasgow Derby pal Joey Barton. I wonder if he’ll call Joey for some tips?!

We wish Scott all the best with his new role and hope to go down and watch his side at some point next season.
