SCOTT BROWN told Celtic fans at an intimate viewing of the Double Treble DVD that he thought he had jinxed it when he rolled up to Celtic Park on the day of the Scottish Cup Final and seen the open top bus!

“I parked my car at Celtic Park [before the game] and accidentally saw the bus.

“So I’m in the changing room thinking, ‘I’ve seen this bus, this is not going to be my day!’

Players can be very superstitious, especially when so much is on the line. Before big cup games, some player’s won’t even touch the trophy during a photoshoot to promote the final.

Brown did anything but jinx it though.

The Captains huddle speech was caught on camera and will go down in Celtic folklore as the bhoys breezed past Motherwell to go into the history books.

Brown has seen a lot during his time at Celtic but the after-party at Celtic Park was something special – even for him.

“Turning around the corner onto London Road and seeing the thousands of fans is something I’ll never forget.

“This is the reason I came to Celtic.”
