SCOTT BROWN has spoken of his delight after seeing Celtic bring two players in who he thinks can make a real difference.

Speaking to CelticTV ahead of this weekend’s tie against Ross County, the Celtic captain believed Shane Duffy and David Turnbull will have a big part to play this season.

Shane will come in and add extra leadership to the team, if Scott Brown is out for any reason, the Irishman’s natural instincts would be to drive the team.

Turnbull is a player who could allow Brown to sit out some games this season to get the best from the midfielders.

Broony thinks the club have done well:

“Shane is an international. He’s a leader, great in the air, good with his feet and a strong defender.

“I’ve seen a lot of David Turnbull. He’s a fantastic footballer and he’s young and keen.”

Both could play a part in Dingwall if the Celtic manager believes they’re ready to be included.

Turnbull did make the bench for the Motherwell game but having just came from Fir Park, Neil Lennon opted not to use David.

The midfielder played for Scotland under 21s during the international break which means more minutes in his legs.

Duffy admitted he isn’t fully fit yet but is working hard to get there.
