SCOTT BROWN is ready to start his competitive Aberdeen career and it won’t be too long before he comes up against his former side in the SPFL.

Speaking to Sky Sports about his path forward and his start at Aberdeen, Broony revealed the players have nicknamed the hybrid because he is in the playing and coaching staff.

Stephen Glass brought Scott to the club and has already installed him as Aberdeen’s captain for the season. This will be an adjustment for Aberdeen fans who have loved to hate Scott over the years. Going from booing virtually his every touch of the ball to see him lead out their side at Pittodrie.

The Celtic legend does take everything in his stride, during the interview he slipped a little and called Celtic ‘us’ – it’s hard to break that habit and something Scott will likely do once is Aberdeen days are over.

He wants to win trophies with the Dons, but that would come at the expense of Celtic. It will be up to the new Celtic side to make sure Scott isn’t successful.
