SCOTT BROWN has confirmed the uncertainty surrounding the Celtic manager’s job played a part in his decision to quit the club this summer.

The captain was honest enough he had to take a selfish point of view and not wait for things to happen or not happen in the summer.

Brown signed a two-year deal with Aberdeen last week and will join up with his former teammate and friend Stephen Glass at Aberdeen in July.

The Celtic legend is enthusiastic about cutting his teeth in coaching but at the same time still being able to pull on a jersey and play the game.

It’s going to be a massive adjustment for Scott and the Celtic support next season when we see him pull on the red of Aberdeen.

There’s a scenario where we’re cheering on a new midfielder or defender tackling Scott when he comes to Celtic Park and starts to get vocal with some of the Hoops players. That will be fun to watch.
