Scott Brown will join Aberdeen for ore-season but before the Celtic legend heads north he’s just been announced as a pundit for ITV during the Euro’s next month.

Scotland will take part in their first major tournament for over two decades; a whole host of football personalities will be covering the action and Broony will be one of them.

ITV has named many of the pundits who will be part of their coverage: Ian Wright, Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Patrick Vieira, Graeme Souness, Ashley Cole, Eni Aluko, Robert Earnshaw, Emma Hayes, Nigel de Jong, John Collins, Joe Ledley, Nadia Nadim, Scott Brown and Andros Townsend.

There a good few former Celts in there, as well as John Hartson being announced as a co-commentator.

James Forrest, Ryan Christie, David Turnbull, Greg Taylor, Callum McGregor and Jack Hendry will all be representing Scotland. It’s going to be an exiting time for the country and it will be great to see Broony give his opinions during the competition.

The former Celtic captain bowed out as a Hoops player after fourteen years at the end of the league campaign. Scott’s trophy haul with the club absolutely incredible.

We hope he doesn’t come back to haunt us too much next season playing for Aberdeen.

Let’s hope Scotland can give a good account of themselves in the competition as well.
