According to Record Sport they have been told by contacts at Aberdeen that there has been NO BID for Scott McKenna from any club over the past 48 hours and furthermore none would be welcome.

Reports surfacing online this morning suggested Celtic had made an approach for the big centre back but the Dons are refuting those claims and have made it clear it would take a massive offer for them to even consider selling one of their prized assets.

One Aberdeen official rated the defender at a whopping £10million when Swansea made an approach for Scott before the English deadline.

It’s safe to say if the Dons are serious about that valuation there will be no deal there to be made.

Celtic are on the lookout for a towering centre back and Scott fits the bill in many ways.

However, with the defender not due back from injury until September it would seem unlikely the club will move for him if he can’t complete the necessary medical.

  1. Look we can bring in two CHs and two midfielders for nothing there are plenty out there on free transfers and what we save on the transfer we can pay in wages we need the mercenary type who gives his all for money first club second it is time to bring them in if we want to keep control this season then we need to bring them in now.
