Scott Sinclair has followed up his goal on Wednesday night against Partick Thistle by taking to social media and issuing a rallying cry to the Celtic support.

The player hadn’t made a Celtic squad since the Motherwell game back in August. Since then there has been confusion and speculation about the player’s future at the club.

With so many desperate to see Scott be included in the squad for the Thistle game, they go their wish when the starting Xi came out on Wednesday evening.

The Englishman came on to a rapturous applause from the fans in attendance when Neil Lennon brought him off the bench.

Scotty came on and got on the score sheet – celebrating like he had just scored a last minute winner and the support were right behind him.

This afternoon he sent a message to the Celtic support telling them he’s ready to fight for his Celtic jersey and thanked fans for their support.
