Former Celtic star and current Preston North-End winger Scott Sinclair has sent his congratulations to last nights debutant Conor Hazard who was given the chance to impress in last nights game.

Sinclair, who was a fans favourite during his time in Glasgow, was once a team-mate of Hazard’s who would have been in and around the first-team at that time as a youngster. The winger, who left the club almost a year ago left a message saying ‘Congrats gezza!!! Well done”.

It is good to see former players showing their support and still keeping an eye on how things are going at the club with players such as Filip Benkovic, Erik Sviatchenko and Dorus De Vries also sending congratulations messages to the Northern Irish keeper.

Come Sunday, it will certainly be interesting to see who Neil Lennon goes with, in between the sticks with both Vasilias Barkas and Scott Bain sitting on the bench last night.

The 22-year old will likely feel he has done enough to keep his place, making a big save towards the end of the game to keep the score at 3-2.
