It looks like something out of a low budget sci-fi movie but Hamilton Accies are trialing a ‘disinfectant chamber’ in a bid to get their players back training with the potential to use before games.

STV report the club has brought in the measure to stamp out germs to help improve the health and safety of their players. Have a look:

Nothing is off the table when it comes to ideas that could make the game safer to play.

We all want to get back to watching Scottish football but it’s going to take time with trial and error.

We have no idea the science behind what Hamilton have implemented and who recommended this be an option.

If it doesn’t do anything of note then it could give players a false sense of security.

Whatever way you look at it at the moment — it’s going to be quite some time before there’s supporters back in football grounds.
