Less than a month ago, the Ibrox club demonstrated their pettiness by refusing to feature the customary cup final text on their jerseys. The refusal to include the name “Celtic” on their shirts as pitiful as their Cup final display.

Celtic had the proper text on their jerseys, the Ibrox club refused

The behavior of the club is unsurprising and immature, given that they seem to prioritise petty matters over the pursuit of winning trophies in modern times.

So it’s absolutely no surprise to us when a Hoops fan flagged up the latest bit of pettiness emanating from the guys in Govan.

Celtic

The semi-final draw of the Scottish Cup paired the two Glasgow clubs together, and both teams shared the news on their social media platforms. However, in the process of displaying Celtic’s logo, the green colour was omitted by Gers social media. In contrast, Celtic displayed the logos as they should be, without any alterations.

The game will be another interesting fixture. The Bhoys have already gotten the better of their Glasgow counterparts at Hampden in the League Cup Final. BUT the Hoops were knocked out of the competition last season at this stage by the Ibrox club after extra time. It’s shaping up to be a cracker.

The game is scheduled to take place in the final weekend of April. Before the two teams go to battle at Hampden, the Scottish Champions will welcome Michael Beale’s men to Celtic Park on April 8th for the third SPFL Glasgow Derby of the season. So far, Celtic have won 4-0 and drawn 2-2 away at Ibrox.
