Celtic are set to be crowned champions of Scotland today as the bhoys are rightly rewarded for their hard work this season.
It’s not happening the way we wanted it and we can’t all get together to celebrate but the significance of nine in a row should be lost on no Celtic supporter today.
While the league has a definitive outcome, there’s still a matter of playing the Scottish Cup to a finish.
The four teams Celtic, Hearts, Aberdeen and Hibernian were all vying for the trophy which should have been settled in early May.
BBC reporter Kheredine has reiterated the SFA’s plan to play out the cup competition when it’s safe to do so. They would also prefer to wait until supporters were allowed into the ground before going ahead with the comp.
Scottish Cup will be finished at earliest opportunity but @ScottishFA preference is for fans to attend semis and final. Which could , in theory , mean 2 Scottish Cups being won in 2021 if they can’t finish this season’s competition this calendar year … https://t.co/qAJfwgdl6d

The important take away here is Celtic will get their chance of a quadTREBLE at some point down the road. The team will look different from the one which would have competed at Hampden in April and May but we just have to get on with it.
