CELTIC have confirmed that they will play their Scottish Cup semi-final tie on Easter Sunday, with a 2 pm kick-off.

Celtic drew their rivals for the next round after brushing aside Dundee United on Monday night.

The side has already had success at Hampden this year and will be hoping for more of the same in April.

The other semi-final is the Edinburgh Derby; it’s lining up to be an exciting weekend of football. Of course, Celtic met Hibs at Hampden in the Final of the League Cup back in December. After going behind, a Kyogo brace won Postecoglou his first trophy as Celtic manager.

As Celtic head into the final games of their season, three games away from the split, they sit in a favourable position. Three points clear in the league and set to face off against their rivals, who they recently convincingly beaten, things are looking bright for the Parkhead side.

However, Postecoglou and his squad are not focussing on what could happen in May. Instead, they are focused on the weekend’s game as they attempt to apply more pressure on the Rangers by extending the gap.
