Images coming out at Celtic Park this evening have shown that security fencing around the front of Celtic Park has started to come down.

The fencing was, of course, put up due to fears of similar scenes of unrest at the stadium, due to poor results have resulted in supporters calling for both Neil Lennon and the Celtic board to be relieved of their duties.

This was also met with a large police presence all around the stadium yesterday.

Many supporters travelled to the stadium today, to put banners, scarfs and flags on the fencing, using it as an item to help protest and get the thoughts of supporters across.

It is unknown at this stage whether this is just a temporary thing, ahead of Thursday’s Europa League tie against Lille, if it will be put back up then or for Sunday’s fixture against Kilmarnock in the league.

To Celtic fans, it certainly wouldn’t come as a surprise to see this back up, in time for the next few games.

  1. Fence + bearded babalon. = A small breathing space and more comfortable working atmosphere within. Rollershutters on main stand lower windows. = Guilt, and fanz drumming on the shutters with clenched fists. = Old rear terracing of Jungle call to arms. Get rid security wall, and get some sort of dialog with fan groups. Worms. Everybody behave or else. Tanks and guns roll in. ?
