On a day where Celtic put on a lackluster performance against Ross County, the league table has taken a lively turn with the later 3 pm kick-offs.
The Rangers faced another humiliation at Ibrox with Hamilton Accies the lastest team to stick the knife into the ever grown gaping wound. The last time Accies won at Ibrox was 1926. Goals from Templeton and Darren Lyon ensured Ibrox closed in a chorus of boos, although there was not too many “people” left, that walked away. You can expect an appointment to follow quickly as the hordes turn on Murty.
Hibs, who probably gave Celtic their best game of football this season in Scotland went down 0-1 to Saint Johnstone but managed a very late goal to pull a point out of the bag but Saint Johnstone managed an even later goal to deflate Neil Lennon. Kyle McClean picked up a yellow card for his 93rd-minute goal celebration, probably his most enjoyable card of his career.
Aberdeen got a body blow from Motherwell as Louis Moult bagged a brace at Pittodrie. Motherwell and Moult are in fine form and Celtic will need to produce a more recognisable display next Sunday if they want to lift their first trophy of the season. Motherwell beat Aberdeen 0-2 and it could have been more.
Celtic will now enjoy a six-point gap at the top of the table. Normal service resumed.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
