Celtic take on Rangers this weekend in what is the final Glasgow derby of the 2022/23 season.

Ange Postecoglou will be aiming to make it five wins in six for his side against their arch rivals when he takes his men to Ibrox on Saturday.

Going into the game, Celtic are undoubted favourites although the Gers will be looking to salvage some pride.

For the hotly anticipated showdown, officials have now been confirmed.

Refereeing the derby will be Steven McLean whilst David Roome and Jonathan Bell will run the lines.

The fourth official is Don Robertson with Greg Aitken on VAR alongside his assistant David McGeachie.

In this weekend’s clash at Ibrox, everyone will be hoping that officials are nowhere near the centre of attention and that football takes focus.

Despite already being crowned champions, Celtic will be aiming for nothing but a victory on Saturday.

No one wants to lose to their rivals and Postecoglou’s Celtic are no different.

  1. Thank God Beaton is nowhere near the game. He should be banned from ever officiating another Rangers game until he explains the Goldson/Duk catchweight wrestling incident at the weekend; blatant cheating.

  2. Is there any other country that makes these announcements on who the referees and var officials are, do the press in these other countries make headlines out of these referees?
