The SFA has appointed Willie Collum for this Sunday’s Glasgow Derby and will be tasked with keeping a lid on proceedings when the two sides meet.

Celtic go into the game ahead of the Ibrox club in the league after three games and will look to put some space between themselves and their Glasgow rivals early on.

The hyperbole surrounding Steven Gerrard’s men has been notable in the lead up to this one and will continue to be cranked up as the week goes on.

Before Sunday’s game both clubs have important Europa League qualifiers to navigate through this week before they can fully focus on the Derby.

Brendan Rodgers has enjoyed immense success in this particular derby and seen off three different Ibrox managers since taking the Celtic hot seat.

Willie Collums last few Derby dates have passed by generally well with Celtic fans always wary of the whistler after he famously gave a penalty against the bhoys without actually seeing the challenge.
