Celtic flew back from France in the wee hours of Friday morning and will have the day to recover before getting back to training on Saturday for their home game against Kilmarnock.

The bhoys have got a 100% league record so far and will want to keep that going at the expense of the Rugby Park side. It will also be a chance to show our strength in depth with Neil Lennon likely to ring in the changes.

The man given the whistle by the SFA for the 1pm Kick-off is Greg Aitken and he will be flanked by David Doig, John McCrossan and fourth official Bobby Madden.

Celtic’s games come thick and fast with a League Cup quarter-final tie in the offing on Wednesday before a trip to Easter Road next weekend and then we await the visit of Cluj.

The hectic schedule before the winter shutdown is something that can give the team real momentum if they Neil Lennon can make full use of his squad.
