The SFA have finally pulled the trigger and have officially opened the Scottish Transfer window this morning as reported by STV.

The window should have opened in June but due to the football calendar being turned upside down. This enables clubs to confirm registrations of players already announced as signing which means Moi will officially be registered as a Celtic player.

The bhoys will now be able to immediately register any new players going forward. FIFA allow a window to be open for twelve weeks, the league starts in three weeks so there’s likely going to be squad upheaval well into the season.

Apart from Moi, there has been no more incomings to Celtic this summer as of yet. The goalkeeping situation has to be addressed. We’re heading into the most important season in our history and we’re unsure who our number one goalkeeper should be.

Defenders are also key to Celtic’s transfer plans with Jozo Simunovic leaving the club at the end of May.
