THE SFA have today released a full written statement to give more insight into why Ibrox defender got away with violent conduct on Celtic captain Scott Brown.

The former Liverpool trainee landed an elbow on Brown during the last Glasgow Derby of the season in May and was yellow carded for the incident. Pictures clearly showed the severity of the incident and the SFA made the decision to cite the defender and bring him in front of a panel.

The whole of Scottish football was amazed when Flanagan walked free from the charge, and when we say the whole of Scottish football, even Derek Johnstone was amazed!

Celtic released a statement in the aftermath of the verdict calling the appeals process a joke.

Today the SFA write Flanagan saying he didn’t hit Brown’s face along with the referee acting at the time was enough to get the defender go free.

  1. Next season Celtic should simply call in their legal team and take the SFA to court and sort this series of assaults out. Take them on Celtic, every time this occurs. You also have a duty of care and this would certainly go some way to showing it. This would strike fear into them and would probably bring them down. We have watch operation ‘stitch up’ all season. We do not wish a repeat.

A Celtic loan player who could hardly speak any English was convicted of a racist remark on the “basis of probability”. They only had the say so of the opponent who cited him. On the bounds of probability, I would say that it could not possibly have happened.

Celtic have the cleanest record in the SPFL and have had so for a good number of years. If referees and the SFA cannot or do not protect our players, then we need to take them on in court. Watch it stop when you do that. Thuggish players will then have to learn to play football. Brown In particulate has been assaulted on numerous occasions this season and we have the videos to show it. Our injuries are not wholly, but are certainly majorly connected to vicious assaults on our players on the field of play. There are videos to back all this up. Scottish football is shamefully corrupt as is the SFA.
