CELTIC have a massive tie in the Europa League on Thursday night but just three days after their trip to Sweden the face the short journey to Ibrox for the first Glasgow Derby of the season.

The game promises to be one of the most hotly contested Glasgow Derbies in years and the SFA are set to announce the man who will be officiating the game.

Always a point of contention and worth noting. The same cycle of referees seem to get these games.

Rumours online today suggest the SFA have already chosen who will be the man in black come midday Sunday and the big rumour is it’s likely to be Bobby Madden. This is completely unconfirmed but given the cycle of referees who are given these ties it would appear Madden is in with a big shout.

Whoever it is, Celtic will have to be at their best and hope the referee doesn’t allow the sort of behaviour that allowed Alfredo Morelos to stay on the pitch back in December.
