Depending on where you’re sitting will depend on if you believe Kevin Clancy is being punished by the SFA for his erratic performance at Easter Road it has been reported.

There were flash points from both sides but from a Celtic perspective – Clancy and his team denying Celtic TWO penalties on the day was enough to stop Celtic from getting all three points.

It was clear as day and the bhoys couldn’t believe it when the referee played on not once but twice during the second half.

Neil Lennon didn’t want to dwell on the performance of the referee but the Celtic manager did point out Clancy had made a big error in not giving at least one of the decisions to Celtic.

The SFA have NOT given Kevin Clancy a game this weekend as a result. The official will not take part in ANY game across the four leagues in any capacity as stated by SunSport.

This could be seen as the SFA looking to take the heat of the referee for a week and until after the international break. It could also be a quiet punishment in a decision taken behind the scenes.
