SHANE DUFFY has told Celtic fans his dream has come true today, signing for Celtic, the club he has supported since he was a bhoy.
Let’s not underestimate the sacrifice Shane has made to make this move happen. The financial packages he could have got by staying down south dwarf anything he’ll get playing for Celtic but this was a man who pushed the deal through.
Why? Because he is a die hard Celtic supporter wanting to be part of something special.

Duffy is now on international leave with Ireland but is due at Lennoxtown next week to begin his Celtic career. The defender could make his debut as early as a week on Saturday against Ross County. However, Neil Lennon has never been one to throw a new signing straight into the mix, could Duffy be an exception?
The big man could have a big part to play in the rest of the season.
