SHAUN MALONEY is returning to paradise on Monday night. The former Celtic player and under 20s coach will take charge of Hibs for the first time.

Speaking to the Hibernian Official Website, Maloney talked about his return to his old stadium;

“I’m really looking forward to it, it’s an amazing challenge for the team.

“Really it’s just the third game for us since I’ve come in, but we want to try and implement and put our style of play on the game. I’m really looking forward to seeing how our team does.

“It’s a huge challenge, but a challenge that we have to prepare for and try and win.”

Maloney also confirmed that Ewan Henderson will not play against Celtic, with his loan contract not allowing him to play against his parent club.

It will be interesting to see how Maloney sets his team up for the game, will he play a more attacking brand of football, or will he try to nullify Celtic’s chances of scoring?

Many Celtic fans will be keeping a close eye on Maloney, with a potential Celtic job in mind later down the line. Maloney netted the ball 52 times in 215 for Celtic.
