Celtic have been linked with a move for prolific striker Shon Weissman BUT only if Odsonne Edouard was to move on this summer.
The Telegraph report the club have a contingency plan in place if an offer was to come in for their star striker and Weissman is high on the list.
The Israeli international was having an outstanding season scoring 29 goals in 30 appearances for Wolfsberger.
The club can’t be caught cold if Edouard were to leave although no Celtic supporter will want that to happen.
Moussa Dembele left on the final day of the transfer window and Celtic struggled to cope with his loss at first.
In an ideal world, Celtic would keep Eddy until the end of next season.
The bhoys have Edouard, Griffiths, Klimala and Bayo as their strikers. Klimala is unproven while Bayo is likely to be cut from the squad sooner rather than later.
