CELTIC scraped by in the second half on Saturday afternoon against Motherwell after dominating for the first 60 minutes.

A long range effort managed to evade Scott Bain and hit the back of the Celtic net and the tide turned. It took a last-ditch overhead kick by Laxalt, clearing the ball off the line in the final seconds to make sure of the three points. Bain had sold the jersey in the run up to the end of the game and put us in all sorts of issues.

Celtic were all over the shop in the final 15 minutes and it wouldn’t have surprised us if we had conceded an equaliser, we probably should’ve.

Another game where a goalkeeper at Celtic doesn’t cover themselves in glory.

We need this position addressed in the summer or we can expect more pain next term. These Celtic fans on social media cannot believe Bain’s second half performance.

There’s no quick fix to the goalkeeping problems at Celtic. Barkas and Hazard have also had nightmares in goals this term. There’s not a settled keeper at the club and it will probably costs us more points before the end of the season.

  1. I would not say it was the keepers that are the problem it is the defending look if you give free shots on goal then some end in the back of the net, you got to defend the goals first and then you can say the keeper is crap,, free shots on our goal are a no no if you play as a team you attack as one and defend together

  2. slow to get out and block the shot …that wasnt Bains job ffs. Some people just decide to pick a player and are like a dug wi a bone and these type of “supporters” came with the new era of the bunnett and advent of social media.
