SCOTT SINCLAIR has told Celtic fans that the players are not afraid of Barcelona going into Wednesday’s glamour tie at Celtic Park.

Celtic suffered a torrid reinitiation into the Champions League at the Camp Nou when Barcelona scored seven times without reply. Something they threaten to do in most of their games in Europe and domestically.

The Catalan’s have been no stranger to Celtic Park having played their more times than Sevco in recent history, so they’ll no the cauldron of atmosphere they are coming into but the Celtic midfielder insists the players are ready for a tough night.

“There’s no apprehension,’ he said. We’ve learned a lot from that game. Even when we went to Monchengladbach we showed the difference when we conceded.”

“We lost the game at home but went there and drew. We’ve learned a lot and hopefully now we’re going in with a positive mindset.’

Barcelona can book their place in the next round with a win over Celtic on Wednesday and it’ll be up to the players to try and stop them. The fighting spirit, performance and intensity that seen us draw 3-3 with City would be a starting point.

  1. Sadly myself and my little daughter Kate wont be in “paradise” on Wednesday night.
However we will be tuned in and hoping for the same result as the famous night on our
125th anniversary when we beat Barca 2-1. That night will live in both our memories forever.
A packed CELTIC PARK will ensure a wonderfull night , win, lose, or draw. H H.
