What a day, what a performance and what a team.

You wouldn’t know that Celtic had two of their main strikers out for the day, much like when Hearts visited Celtic Park, it mattered not a jot!

Celtic steamrolled a Hearts team who were hell bent on trying to stop the title party at any cost. The tackles flying in were at best reckless, but Celtic showed their resolve and composure in the face of some rather thuggish challenges and a very ill-tempered crowd.

Scott Sinclair stepped up to the mark in the absence of Dembele and Griffiths and bagged a famous hat-trick that will be remembered for years to come. The Englishman was simply outstanding, his supporting partners Forrest and Roberts deserving of the plaudits also.

Another star display by Stuart Armstrong and a clean sheet for a defence who rarely looked troubled.

It was a great day in the office and an only the 3rd time in Celtic’s history that we’ve got to 6 in a row.

The Celtic manager was delighted and joined in the post-match celebrations.

While many bitter, jealous media outlets try to tout Brendan back to the Premier League, he spoke about his contentment and delight about where he is. He’s here for ten in a row, and I believe him. In the words of our previous Irish manager – This is just the beginning.
