SKY SPORTS got a lot of credit for the way they handled the opening Celtic game of the season with great analysis and story telling from Martin O’Neill and John Hartson.

It was a breath of fresh air for what we’ve been served up in the past. However, the honeymoon is over!

Just as we thought Sky would show some good sense and keep a certain pundit away from Celtic matches – Ian Crocker let the cat out of the bag and revealed Kris Boyd will be joining the two man pundit team on Sunday.

We HOPE this is just because Boyd is a former Kilmarnock player and he isn’t going to darken the doors of many Celtic games this season.

He’s a pundit with an agenda, there’s no doubt about it. It’s particularly impressive to not give a team who have won the last 11 trophies in a row much credit – but he manages to on a regular basis. Safe to say, we’ll not be tuning in for the pre and post match thoughts.

  1. An open minded, objective and realistic presentation is looked for and welcomed. Sky Sports not done even the minimal of research and have put in place a bitter, negative and totally anti-Celtic presenter in Boyd. Sadly, the footballing world in Scotland has not emerged into fair-minded and constructive analysis of the game where certain teams are involved. Boyd comes no where near any criteria to deliver such an objective presentation where Celtic are involved

  2. Yes we all hate the fud but it’s always funny to see his coupon tripping him when he has to watch us destroy teams…
