Every weekend for the last month Sky Sports has run some kind of story about the sale of Odsonne Edouard to <Insert English Club>. No matter what club they choose to link the French man with Arsenal always get an honourary mention.
That’s not even the insulting part. The insulting part last week was the made-up £20m price tag that got plucked from the Sky (pun intended) for Celtic’s most prized asset. Apparently, the current worldwide pandemic has brought down a non-existent asking price.
This weeks article though takes the biscuit. It’s not bad enough that they have lined up Kris Boyd, Andy Walker and Charlie Nicholas for the commentary but they have butchered French Eddy in a half and half jersey. Not very professionally either, could be a Boydy design with PC Paint?
Most Celtic fans don’t want Sky Sports near the Scottish game but whenever football returns you can expect a lot more blunders from the broadcaster. They already have a long history of shown contempt for Scottish football.
The only plus side would be Kris Boyd forced to commentate a historic ten-in-a-row season. Who will they link Edouard with next week?
