Sky Sports man Anthony Joseph has added more fuel to the fire Celtic are getting prepared to announce their new manager.

There has been several reports from Australia and Japan that Ange Postecoglou’s final game for Yokohama Marino’s will take place on Wednesday night before he begins his journey to the UK to officially sign for the club. Read more here.

There are two big issues in the way at the moment:

  • Celtic are still awaiting the outcome of Ange’s pro-licence exemption appeal.
  • The coach’s self-isolation period when arriving in the UK.

This could slow down the process of an announcement but Jospeh has hedged his bets by claiming Ange will be in charge before the first pre-season fixture when the hoops take up their training camp in Wales.

Celtic have been without a manager for over 100 days and there’s still so many questions to be answered regarding the likes of John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan; a DoF and Ange’s potential staff picks.

Hopefully, this is coming to an end.
