ANGE POSTECOGLOU is looking to strengthen his Celtic side in the summer window.

With question marks surrounding Jota’s permanent future and being heavily reliant on Abada, Celtic are exploring the possibility of bringing Bodo/Glimt winger Ola Solbakken, to the club.

The winger caused havoc when he played against Celtic in the Conference League, leaving many fans desperate to sign the player. CeltsAreHere revealed that the player was offered to the club last summer, but no move surfaced.

Now, to sign the player, Celtic will have to fork out just £1.6 million. [Gazzetta Dello Sport]. From the analysis that BhoysAnalytics carried out for CeltsAreHere [Read more here], that looks to be a bargain.

The worry for Celtic is Ola’s performances have attracted other clubs in top European leagues. The transfer fee won’t be a problem for Celtic, but persuading him to join the Hoops may be. However, winning the Scottish league does give Celtic the advantage of Champions League football next season.

Hopefully, if the club make a move for the winger, they can successfully bring him to Scotland, where he will undoubtedly flourish.
