Shane Duffy has come in for some criticism this morning after reposting a video of himself playing for Brighton branding it the ‘good old days’.
It’s a perfectly fine tweet and obviously harkens back to a time where Shane was enjoying his football. This year, the big man has failed to make the grade at Celtic as obviously not in the best of places because of it.
As Twitter does, as soon as the post was made there were Celtic fans underneath the post asking him to delete the tweet. Somehow, people taking offence to the player reminiscing about a time where he was at the tip of his game.

Shane has been poor, he knows it and we all know it but some of the vitriol aimed at the player since signing for Celtic and not playing well has been poor.
The abuse he’s taken from rival fans has been incredibly disgusting.
Sometimes a move just doesn’t work out. Being a Celtic fan, that will hit Shane hard but he doesn’t deserve a constant barrage of abuse every time he steps onto social media.
