Over the past seven years, Celtic have completely dominated everything and everyone in Scottish Football. The Bhoys are in the hunt for their 9th title in a row and just won their tenth consecutive domestic trophy last week.
The Hoops were warned once a certain Ibrox club made it into the big boys league that a change was coming and that power was going to shift to the new team in Glasgow. That has not happened. Every season it is the same thing, Gers players coming out and saying their team is the best team in Scotland and they will win the league.
All the talk has suited Celtic players as a quite motivator, Scott Brown has had to claim many times that his team do their talking on the pitch. That is why the Celtic captain should have a word with on-loan Southampton winger, Mohamed Elyounoussi.
According to The Record, the Norwegian has said: “When we meet them again we’ll destroy them.”
Elyounoussi is only new to how things work so we can let this one slide but the trash talk works better after the final whistle. The winger was in red hot form for Celtic until his injury and if he gets back to that kind of form he could quite possibly destroy the Rangers but don’t tell anyone.
