CALLUM MCGREGOR has been called into the Scotland quad even though he hasn’t kicked a ball for his club since last month.

The midfielder is back training with the bhoys this week as he ups his recovery and the Dundee game on Sunday may be too soon for Callum to play. However, he has been called up by Alex McLeish and Neil Lennon admitted Callum will now go to the Scotland setup next week to be assessed. If they think Callum is fit enough they will play him.

Neil isn’t against this happening as some fans might be with the Scotland setup adamant Callum come in even though he’s still recovering from an injury.

The plot thickens, however, with the Scotland setup NOT calling up Steven Fletcher from Sheffield Wednesday because of an ‘injury’ the striker has. McLeish didn’t call Fletcher up for that reason but on Tuesday night he turned out for his club and even got a goal – something stinks!

If McGregor has been told to come in and see where he’s at physically then why has Steven Fletcher not been asked to do the same?

    • It’s the players who now hold the aces, and want to play for there country at their clubs expense , stop them and they will spit out the dummy very quick and want to leave known they can get more money if they test the water

  1. It’s a plastic pitch, EPL bosses don’t want their players on those things, whereas up here we have to play on that garbage

  2. Seriously we can’t asses him. If lennon said that I’m gutted that he’d let a player go to a set up that couldn’t asses a goat
