The Celtic developmental side will be taking on Aberdeen this afternoon at Lennoxtown and for the first time this term, Shved has been included in the developmental squad.

Alongside him is Daniel Arzani who is also struggling to get into the first-team reckoning.

Celtic are not part of the reserve league this year so for the past six months we’ve seen hastily put together friendlies both north and south of the border to keep the developmental players ticking over.

Stephen Welsh in the side after making his first-team debut a few weeks ago.

Soro is looking to up his fitness and understanding with a start against the Dons also.

There are a good few players who are knocking on the door of the first team and have to use these matches to impress that little bit more.

Arzani is heading back to Manchester City at the end of this season and it doesn’t look like he’ll be used to any big extent before moving on.

Ewan Henderson back in the fold also, hoping to impress. With the bhoys not flying out until Wednesday for their game against Copenhagen, the manager is likely to be watching.
