The good news is that Celtic have not lost a single midweek league game (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) since the start of the 2016-17 season. The Hoops have won 31 and drawing six of 37 such matches in this time. Their last midweek league defeat came at St. Johnstone in May 2016 (1-2).

Celtic go into this evening’s game with some concerns over captain Scott Brown and defender Shane Duffy after both picked up knocks in Sunday’s Scottish Cup final win over Hearts.

With the team just out this is how your Celtic team will line up against Ross County:

As stated already Brown and Duffy miss out through injury but Celtic fans will be happy enough that Soro can do a job today after their captain was immense at the weekend. David Turnbull has fastly played himself as a dead cert to start for the champions but he’ll need to keep playing to a high level with so much talent left on the bench.

Much has been made from comments between Leigh Griffiths and Neil Lennon after the weekend’s heroics but with Leigh starting tonight he gets a chance to do his talking on the pitch as he has done so many times in the past about his fitness.

Goalkeeping hero Conor Hazard has deservedly got a 3rd straight start, he needs to cut out some small mistakes in his game to make himself a dead cert for a starting place too.

Once again Celtic has an unbelievable bench to use should they need to. Kick-off at 6pm from Paradise.
