CELTIC’S official twitter account was on form this morning after Real Zaragoza tagged the club in a tweet about a game played in 1967.
The Spanish club were referring to a game which they lost on a coin toss to old Ibrox occupants Rangers (1872). The game was a stalemate after two legs so before penalty shootouts a simple coin toss decided matters – the old Ibrox club got the win.
Celtic kindly reminded them that Celtic didn’t play in that game because they were too busy winning on their way to a European Cup victory – it must have been some other team from Glasgow.
?♂️ Sorry, wasn’t us.
Might have been another Glasgow team, as we were still celebrating our European Cup Quarter-Final win against FK Vojvodina on the #RoadToLisbon. ?? https://t.co/o0atnCTtK7

Celtic would have their finest season that year, winning every competition they entered – playing pure, inventive football.
Nice reply. Touch of class!
