Graeme Souness told the Sky Sports Football show that Rangers have an enormous task on their hands next term trying to stop Celtic from doing ten in a row.

It’s refreshing to hear someone from a blue persuasion admitting as much because at the moment, Celtic show no signs of slowing down.

Celtic made it nine in a row with their efforts this season being rewarded with another title. Given the club were on their way to a fourth consecutive treble, you can’t underestimate this side at any time – although people try.

Souness is wary of the threat Neil Lennon poses as Celtic manager and warned Rangers it’s going to be a tough gig.

“I’ve worked with Neil Lennon… Neil Lennon knows football. For Rangers it’s an enormous challenge next year, but somehow they’ve got to come up with the answers to stop Celtic making it 10 in a row.” Souness told Sky Sports.

Celtic will now be looking at what’s next and how they make sure they are in the best shape for next season. Keeping key players will be vital.

Neil Lennon knows the pressure next season will bring, it’s going to be very interesting to say the least.

  1. Graeme Souness,is playing his hand wanting Celtic to sit tight with the players they have at club we need to spend £9.or 10 on our goal keeper FF and we need big named seasoned pro CH and two big named seasoned pros in midfield and a top notch seasoned pro CF we can give them a good wage om a 18 month deals …no young lads this window…Celtic must send this message out loud and clear if you want to stop 10 then you better put up tens of millions and that is only to try and stop us doing 10 with the players we have as we intend to add Quality to our squad..
Turn the Screw tight do this Celtic and make history and bring home 10 in a row…
