SOUTHAMPTON like to keep supporters informed about their loan players via their official website but it appears they don’t do much detective work while they do it.

The official club website made it known that Mohamed Elyounoussi had returned from a long lay off to play 85 minutes against Clyde which is correct. The Norwegian hadn’t played since the Glasgow Derby Cup final in December and he’d already missed action before that game where he was brought off at half time.

It was great to see Moi get a runout and play well for the time he was on the field.

However, they also congratulated Fraser Forster on another clean sheet for the bhoys against Clyde. Clearly not watching the game or even bothering to look at the team sheet, the official site did not see Scott Bain took charge in goals for Celtic against the lower league side. Perhaps they did watch the game and are unsure what Fraser Forster looks like – if that’s the case we can send Bain down the road to St Mary’s in the summer and keep Fraser without a fee!
