It was rumoured on Tuesday but now it’s confirmed by a top publication in Spain, Henrik Larsson will join Ronal Koeman’s Barcelona backroom team next season.
The Celtic legend has been desperate to get into football, at the end of last year, Henrik was close to taking over at Southend as first team manager. When that fell apart, the Swede has bided his time, but what a position to land!

He goes back to the club where he won the Champions League. Fans will remember the striker coming on in second half against Arsenal and turning the game for the Spanish club.
This could give Henrik the experience and credentials to become a great coach and further down the line, who knows.
Koeman takes over with Barcelona in tatters, losing the league and Champions League humiliation means there’s a big rebuild needed during the backdrop of one of the most surreal times in football history. We wish them all the best.
