He’s been a terrific player since he joined the Hoops in the January transfer window, with fans raving about the player’s performances and enjoying watching the passion he has when playing, it was clear to see that in Sunday’s derby final.

Speaking after the match, Johnston vowed that the team would continue winning trophies, promising it’s not the last one of the season.

Admitting it was nice to have a cup in the bag in February ahead of their final push in the league, Johnston said:

“This one’s for you guys. The passion at this club, it runs so deep. You can see it everywhere. The support we had there today was special.

“Everyone stayed an hour after the final whistle to cheer on every little celebration. It was pretty cool. We’re super excited to bring this one home.

“This is our first trophy of the year, it’s not our last either. It’s nice in February to already have one in the trophy case.”

As you can see in the video clip, the fans loved what he said, giving him a big cheer.

Not only can Johnston talk the talk, but he can also walk the walk. Something that the Ibrox players can’t do it seems.
