The SPFL have confirmed Aberdeen’s next two games against Hamilton and Celtic WILL go ahead. even though their tie against St Johnstone this weekend is now off.

A group of Aberdeen players have landed themselves in hot water by defying strict rules not to go out and socialise while in the sporting bubble. Two players have contracted the virus since last weekend when they went out to an Aberdeen bar which has turned out to be the epicentre of a virus hot spot. Other Dons stars are now isolating.

Their St Johnstone game is off BUT the SPFL have this afternoon stressed their game against Celtic next weekend will be on.

Take this with a pinch of salt at the moment. Their game this weekend was initially still on before the decision was made to postpone. Expect a more firm confirmation nearer the time and let’s see if their tie against Hamilton midweek goes ahead first.
