The SPFL have moved to rubbish the claim that the SPFL withheld information about a £10m clawback by broadcasters for the season not being finished properly.
The Ibrox dossier claimed the potential of broadcasters looking for their cashback had not been disclosed to member clubs.
However, the SPFL say this allegation is based on a complete misunderstanding of the situation by the Ibrox club. This would be of interest to Celtic if a potential £10m was going to be taken off the table.
Re potential £10m ‘clawback’ from TV/sponsors, @spfl:”That was not reported to (clubs) because it is simply not the case. The central complaint of Rangers is simply wrong & based on a complete misunderstanding of the situation the League and broadcast partners find themselves in”

So much mud was thrown at the SPFL yesterday it would perhaps be impossible to address it all in one go.
The board are furious with what the Ibrox club have attempted to do over the past month and made it clear they urge clubs to vote against an inquiry on Tuesday during the EGM.
We should be looking out for the best interests of Scottish football and the very survival of our game at the moment. This sideshow is doing nothing and supporters want to see progress.
