THE SPFL are to vote on the recommendations put forward today that thr lower leagues should end with immediate effect while the Premiership holds its breath a little longer before deciding what to do.
Under the SPFLs plans, winners and losers will be decided by average points. This would bean Dundee Utd would be promoted while Partick Thistle would be relegated to the third tier of Scottish football.
If games can’t be finished in the Premiership then the same thing would come into effect for Celtic and their average points would make them comfortable league winners.
We must stress, the clubs all have to vote on these measures and must pass before they become official.
Journalist, Alison Conroy has confirmed this afternoon that the results of the vote will be revealed early next week.
Voting expected to be complete early next week. Need 75% to pass the resolution – need 9 Premiership, 8 Championship & 15 League 1/2 https://t.co/kufIxWasvJ

This is how the league would look, as cited by RecordSport.
How the Premiership would look under average points placings:
Celtic: 2.66
Rangers: 2.31
Motherwell: 1.53
Aberdeen: 1.50
Livingston: 1.30
St Johnstone: 1.24
Hibs: 1.23
Killie: 1.10
Ross County 0.97
St Mirren: 0.97
Hamilton: 0.90
Hearts: 0.77
Must find a big stick, to poke into the bears cage, just to wind them up, as usual.
