Neil Lennon has left the building and that has many supporters looking to the future.
It prompted one journalist to approach the SRU and ask if there was wheels in motion to allow Dominic McKay to start his work at Celtic earlier than the beginning of July.
The SRU issued an emphatic statement saying their man would not be leaving until the agreed upon date and Dominic has a lot to do before now and then.
? SRU chief exec Mark Dodson says no chance of Dominic McKay moving to Celtic early:
"Dom is going to have a very full in-tray when he gets there.
"He has a notice period that he has to serve and we need stability in our business too. I expect Dom to be with us for a while".

McKay will come in three weeks before Celtic’s fits Champions League qualifier — I’d be incredibly surprised if Dominic wasn’t in the loop on what’s going on and even having his say at Celtic while overseeing his SRU obligations.
We would like to know how much authority Dominic is being afforded when it comes to the Director of football role and the manager’s position. Surely Peter Lawwell will have a very little say on the set up for next season.
rugby sucks. hopefully scotland get pumped in the 6 nations.
