Celtic look to be upping their game in the last few days when it comes to their transfer targets.

Reports in Sweden this morning claim Carl Starfelt will undergo a Celtic medical today in Moscow ahead of a move to Glasgow.

Swedish sports journalist Anel Avdic has reported Celtic and Rubin Kazan have come to an agreement worth up to €5m for the centre back.

Carl has been linked with a move to Celtic for around two weeks. It looks like we’re in the end game now and are about to do some serious business.

The 26-year-old is a first team ready player and will likely find his way into the starting XI as soon as he’s up to speed.

The future of Kristoffer Ajer is still up in the air – it’s expected the Norwegian will leave the club – that process could be expedited now if Celtic are close to bringing Carl into the club.

Ajer has made it clear he sees his future elsewhere and it’s time for the club to do a deal.

  1. About time played fair with Kris. Will be sorry to lose him but he at least didn’t down tools last year so only right to honour agreement Celtic had with him.

  2. But look at the clubs that are in for him,me thinks when he goes his best days will be way behind him in football…good luck
