Odsonne Edouard got a rare start today and bhoy, did he take advantage of every minute on that park. With Dembele injured and Griffiths rested it was up to the PSG loanee to get among the goals and he didn’t disappoint.
Some Celtic fans think the Frenchman has played himself into contention for a start against Anderlecht.
Edouard big statement today. If Dembele doesn’t go on Tuesday he’s proven himself to be a comfortable 2nd choice behind Griff.

The player himself is delighted to get on the scoresheet. Speaking after the match Edouard was humble in victory.
“I’m very happy but, first of all, I want to thank everyone, especially my coach and team-mate, and I’m absolutely delighted that I have scored my first hat-trick for the club.”
“I’ve been very patient and I was very happy to get the chance to start the game, and it was down to the trust of the manager. To make an impact with a hat-trick, I couldn’t be happier.”
Very well done Celtic!.The steel men were well and truly put in Thier place today, and I defy anyone too say Motherwell are not a team of hackers! Some guy ,depending on football for a living ,is going to come a cropper with no protection from silly minded referee’s! What Clancy see’s and does not see is baffling!!! What clown of a man, he is! Celtic done exactly what I forecast this morning on this page, and I am delighted to say I put my money where my mouth was and bet Celtic to win five one.! But for thier goalie,it could have been 9/10, but God is good! Hail Hail
