STEVEN GERRARD’S future is up for speculation. He could even make the best most adventurous and fulfilling decision of his life OR he could sign for The Rangers.
However, the Liverpool Legend is already pencilled in to visit Celtic Park this September to play in a charity match contested between Stillyan Petrov and James Milner.
The former midfielder has agreed to play in the game which will benefit a number of cancer charities.
By the time that game toles around, could he be the man tasked with trying to stop ten in a row?
As someone pointed out yesterday, Steven Gerrard is the last person who can be credited with stopping Brendan Rodgers winning a title.
The charity showdown will take place on Septemeber 8th.
The Celtic line-up includes the likes of Henrik Larsson and Lubo Moravcik, while Gerrard will be joined in the Liverpool team with Luis Garcia.

A floor sweeper in a factory producing Asbestos in the 1950s would have been a less toxic job.
A maintenance man working in the Bangkok sewers would be a less toxic job. Gerrard would be far better off clearing out Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant.
