Any time we post a story about our former manager Brendan Rodgers to our Facebook page we get a mixed response. Boasting over 100k followers, you’re bound to get every opinion under the sun.

Our latest article about the Irishman reacting to Celtic’s nine in a row win was posted on Tuesday evening, but there was a notable amount of people looking to move on from calling him names or dismissing his contributions.

The former Celtic manager congratulated the hoops for winning the league and said it was a privilege to be part of that run.

Brendan Rodgers Reacts to Celtic’s Title Win

There are some people who will never come around when it comes to the way the manager left, but there’s enough goodwill out there for him which is down to Neil Lennon.

  1. Like most, I was not happy with the timing of Brendan’s exit. But he did galvanize the club, was highly successful at Celtic and brought a strong element of structure and quality. I do believe that there were situations fermenting behind the scenes that ultimately led to his departure. That said, I truly wish him all the best, as I believe he was, is, and always will be a Celtic man through and through.
